Amsterdam-based fashion brand Scotch & Soda is making a splash this spring and summer on the New York City waterways with a branded water taxi servicing commuters and tourists up and down the East River.

The branded vessel launches this week and will make regular stops near several of the company’s New York stores including ones at South Street Seaport, DUMBO and Williamsburg.

The taxi is branded inside and out: in addition to an exterior wrap, video will run on monitors in the boat’s cabin where seats and tabletops will be customized as well.

“Given our Dutch heritage, boating and New York waterways feel very natural for the brand,” stated  Scotch & Soda CEO Ari Hoffman. “After all, it is New Amsterdam.”

Scotch & Soda worked with OOH specialist Posterscope on the project.
