Two UK agencies are adding to their executive teams. Tug is hiring Trefor Thomas as global chief creative officer to focus on omni-channel offerings across all of the agency's operations. Thomas, a
20-plus year industry veteran, has held senior positions in companies such as SapientNitro, RMG Connect, Saatchi & Saatchi and most recently as CCO of loyalty agency, LIDA.
The addition of
Thomas follow's Eoin O’Neill’s promotion to Chief Technology Officer to focus on how the agency leverages its tech expertise globally across creative and media.
MiQ is appointing
Giles Ivey as CEO, UK in a newly created role to oversee the analytics agency's growth in the UK as well as continuing to expand the business across media, analytics and technology. Joint managing
directors, Joe Worswick and Evangelos Sideras, will report to Ivey, who will report to MiQ president RIchard Dunmall.
Ivey was previously a Non-Executive Board Member and then global
Chief Revenue Officer at Avid Media. Earlier he was managing director UK at Collective, where he oversaw the acquisition of the company by Time Inc. UK.
