Messagepoint Inc. is partnering with SparkPost to provide its clients with cloud-based email delivery service.
The arrangement will combine SparkPost’s email platform with Messagepoint’s customer communications management (CCM) services.
The deal is part of a plan “to deliver best-of-breed solutions,” states Patrick Kehoe, EVP, product management at Messagepoint. It is also designed to foster consistent omnichannel communications.
SparkPosts brings analytics and inbox delivery to the table. It claims to send 3 trillion messages per year for clients such as Pinterest, Twitter, Intercom, LinkedIn, Zillo and Comcast.
Messagepoint uses a cloud-based platform to facilitate contextual communications “for major brands in regulated industries, such as banking and insurance, as well as other large enterprises with complex communication needs,” states Joal Barbehenn, SVP of business development at SparkPost.
