Marketo has assigned OneTrust the task of helping it with its GDPR compliance and global privacy management.
OneTrust’s Assessment Automation service will allow Marketo to conduct privacy impact analysis. It will also supply data mapping modules and cookie compliance and website scanning services, according to OneTrust.
"We were receptive to the GDPR and the accompanying privacy controls and rules that came into effect because it promotes trust, transparency and choice," states Matthew Fischer, associate general counsel and chief privacy officer for Marketo.
He adds: “We fully expect we will have to further customize modules, applications and templates to adjust to these new requirements, and OneTrust can help us with this process."
