BBDO Switches Up Leadership In Americas, Europe

Omnicom’s BBDO Worldwide announced two regional management changes today.

St. John Walshe will become CEO, BBDO The Americas, and Jim Moser will succeed him as chairman, BBDO Europe.

“St. John started his career at BBDO in 1997 as an account executive on M&M’s,” stated Andrew Robertson, the agency’s global CEO.  “For the last 13 years, he has been our global lead on Mars.  In that time, it has grown into one of our largest clients and a global flagbearer for our work – the most awarded client at Cannes the last two years in a row.”

For the last five years, Walshe has also been leading most of BBDO’s offices in Europe. In the Americas, he succeeds Chris Thomas who last month announced he was leaving the agency.

Moser is relocating to London from Australia where he has been CEO Cleminger BBDO since 1999. Earlier he led BBDO offices in Poland and Italy. “There is no more passionate believer in BBDO, its people, and what we stand for than Jim,” Robertson said.

    Congratulations Jim.

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Jim in the late '90s at Clemenger when we were forming OMD Australia.   Jim is a top advertising executive, but even more importantly he is a darned good bloke.
