Rochester, NY-based agency Butler/Till has appointed former 4As CEO Marla Kaplowitz chair of its board of directors.  

Kaplowitz was 4As’ CEO from 2017 until her departure last year (succeeded by industry veteran Justin Thomas-Copeland). She joined Butler/Till’s board in January, following six months as a board observer.

In addition to being women-led, the agency is 100% owned by its employees. 

In addition to Butler/Till, Kaplowitz serves on the boards of PENN Entertainment, a casino, racetrack and digital sports betting company and #paid, a marketplace that connects brands with content creators. 

She is also on the advisory boards of ad group MSQ Partners and ad tech firm LoopMe.
