Big Mouth Billy Bass Hooks Up With Amazon Alexa

Big Mouth Billy Bass, the talking and singing wall-mounted fish, has become Amazon Alexa enabled.

The fish is now programmed to respond to Alexa voice commands and lip sync with Alexa spoken responses as well as dance to the beat with music.

The singing fish, created and popularized in the late 90s with its lip syncing rendition of the song Take Me to the River, was first Alexa-connected by an individual and featured in a video two years ago, which has received 2 million views.

The Alexa-enabled fish, which will work with Amazon’s Echo line of smart speakers, can respond to inquiries about weather, the news, commute time and random facts, just as can be done directly with Echo devices.

The Alexa-compatible Big Mouth Billy Bass is listed for preorder at Amazon for $40, with a released date of Dec. 1.
