Reilly -- who has been president of TNT, TBS and chief creative officer for Turner Entertainment since 2015 -- will now have the title of president of TBS, TNT and chief creative officer Turner and Direct-to-Consumer.
This includes head of content for WarnerMedia’s yet-to-be-named streaming service, which launches next year.
Reilly will look to “define the non-HBO original, library and licensed content that will characterize the brands that make up the overall product offer” for the new streaming service.
He will now report to new WarnerMedia CEO John Stankey, as well as Turner President David Levy. In October, AT&T said WarnerMedia would launch a direct-to-consumer streaming service next year.
AT&T also said the new service would launch with three tiers: an entry-level package focused on movies; a premium service with original programming and movies; and a third service bundling content from the first two, plus library content from WarnerMedia and third-party licensed content from other companies.
