Netflix continues its strong results in the second quarter of this year, adding 32 million gross global subscribers -- growing approximately twice as fast as two of its main competitors, according to Parrot Analytics.
Walt Disney’s Disney+ and Warner Bros Discovery (Max, discovery+) grew around 16 million 15.5 million, respectively.

This comes as Netflix has said, when reporting its first quarter 2024, that starting in the first quarter of 2025 it would no longer release global subscriber data.
At the end of 2024, Netflix reported a 16% increase to 301.6 million global subscribers -- as well as 89.6 million in North America, and 81.4 million in the U.S.
