ActiveCampaign Debuts Messaging Platform For SMBs

ActiveCampaign has debuted a automated conversational platform to help small businesses communicate with their customers.

Conversations allows small and medium-sized businesses to use the appropriate channels for interacting with individuals in a contextual way, the firm says.

"With so many different channels for communicating, it's critical that businesses can reach their customers where they are," states Jason VandeBoom, founder and CEO of ActiveCampaign.

One ActiveCampaign client, Argo Translation, is using Conversations to automate work that it had done manually.

"When a visitor starts a chat and provides their email address, ActiveCampaign automatically creates a contact, assigns a prospect score, and seamlessly works with all of our automations,” states Nick McGuire of Argo Translation.

It's a shame Active Campaign doesn't concentrate on its core product. It's image uploading capability to BUILD email campaigns is appalling and hasn't been updated for many years! Stop chasing new business with gimmicky add-ones and improve your core product!
