Wheelhouse Entertainment Takes Stake In Portal A To Produce Branded Content

Talent and content company Wheelhouse Entertainment has acquired a minority stake in content marketing company Portal A.

Terms weren’t disclosed.

The companies said they would offer their combined resources to help media companies, brands and agencies produce branded and original content.

Wheelhouse was founded last year by entrepreneur Brent Montgomery and now counts late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel as a partner.

Portal A focuses on content aimed at millennial and younger audiences. It was founded a decade ago years ago by Nate Houghteling, Kai Hasson and Zach Blume.

It works with media companies like Warner Bros. and Google and brands such as Procter & Gamble, Clorox and others.
