Minneapolis-based haircut chain Great Clips has appointed Knoxville-based The Tombras Group as its new media agency of record.
Previously the Great Clips media account was with Minneapolis-based Periscope. The brand recently began working with Hunt Adkins, also based in Minneapolis, for creative needs.
“What impressed us most about Tombras was their deep franchise experience as well as their fact-based, data driven approach to drive measurable growth and build our brand,” said Lisa Hake, vice president marketing and communications at Great Clips. “Tombras is using leading-edge approaches to optimize media buying and we’re excited to work with their team to drive results for our franchisees.”
“Great Clips presented us with a unique opportunity to connect data and creativity to drive their business growth,” said Dooley Tombras, President of The Tombras Group. “It’s exciting as an agency to partner with an already successful category leader. We see an immediate opportunity to accelerate Great Clips traffic and sales growth with a data led media approach."
Great Clip has 4,400 locations in the US and Canada. The brand spent more than $20 million on measured media in the U.S. in 2017 according to Kantar Media.
