Cyber security firm Perception Point is offering its technology to clients of Box, a cloud-content management platform, to clients.

The integration allows Box users to click onto Perception Point’s platform to access threat detection capabilities that cover the range of attacks, “from APTs to phishing, across multiple channels, from email to cloud content management platforms,” states Yoram Salinger, CEO of Perception Point.

Collaboration platforms are a target for sophisticated malware distributors, the company says.

However, Perception Point claims that its agile cloud solution blocks malicious files and URLs from being uploaded.
