ActiveCampaign Integrates With Square To Drive Segmentation For SMBs

ActiveCampaign, an automation provider serving SMBs, has integrated its platform with Square, and is now offering it in the Square App Marketplace, the firm announced on Tuesday. 

The service allows SMBs to use online and in-store purchasing data and order trends to segment customers and send personalized promotions, the company says. 

It adds that SMBs traditionally sent promotional blasts to all their customers, regardless of preferences and behaviors. 

Prior to the integration, Coffea Roasterie and Espresso Bar did not have the ability and ease of use to send personalized messages to its customers "based on specific purchasing behaviors captured by Square,” states Bryan Kegley, CEO of Coffea Roasterie and Espresso Bar.

“Small businesses should be able to choose the tools they want to run their business,” states Jason VandeBoom, founder and CEO of ActiveCampaign.

He adds that Square is part of many small business stacks.
