Frito-Lay is co-marketing three of its biggest brands — Lay's, Doritos and Tostitos — as the perfect snacks for the biggest snacking season of them all: summer.
“The Perfect Side of Summer,” from in-house agency D3, includes 30-, 15- and 6-second spots that will run for an 11-week flight through Labor Day across TV, digital and social.
The 30-second (below) and 15-second ads feature all three brands, while the short-format spots are cut-downs that focus on individual brands.
The ads show friends and family enjoying the snacks during cookouts, pool parties and other typical summer activities.
Messaging: “There are a million ways to enjoy summer, and we’ve got the perfect side for them all.”
