Pixability Taps Chris Woods As CRO

The video advertising technology company Pixability has named Chris Woods CRO.

In his new role, Woods will be responsible for the company’s global revenue operations, and its video marketing solutions, which now include connected TV.

He was most recently chief growth officer at the ad agency Allen & Gerritsen, and before that served in a number of senior roles at Google and YouTube, including head of U.K. sales strategy and global industry relations.

While Pixability is best known for its expertise on YouTube, the company is in the midst of expanding its reach to other platforms, which include Facebook, Instagram, and now CTV. The company leverages its data to provide a holistic view of marketing strategies across those video platforms.

For example, this week the company released data about quick service restaurants (QSRs) on YouTube and social video platforms.

Pixability found that views of content related to QSRs was up 44% last year, a rate faster than for automotive content and gaming content, which each saw 40% growth rates. Reviews and menu challenges were the stickiest types of QSR content, driving the highest engagement rates.
