McCann New York is bulking up on its strategy offering with the appointment of three senior executives including Erica Yahr who has been named Chief Strategy Officer. 

A 20-plus veteran of the agency Yahr most recently served as executive vice president/ executive strategy director of McCann Health in New York. 

Also joining the agency’s strategy team are Emily Portnoy as EVP/head of brand strategy and Jaime Winner as senior vice president/ head of social & digital strategy. 

“I have known and admired Erica since she and I first began working in McCann New York’s strategy department at about the same time” said Devika Bulchandani, President of McCann New York. “In the many recent instances where McCann and McCann Health have worked closely together on consumer healthcare brands, she has brought her considerable strategic skills to bear.” 

Portnoy joins McCann from the Grey Group, where she served for 14 years most recently as executive strategy director. 

Winner previously served at Wunderman Thompson, where she had worked at Wunderman for the last five years as a group strategy director.
