Havas reported a 2.5% organic revenue gain for the second quarter.
Net revenue totaled 724 million euros, up 3.8%. Organic growth excludes currency fluctuations and M&A impact compared to the prior year period.
The firm confirmed its previous full-year growth
guidance of 2% to 3%.

First half revenue was up 1.2% to 1.362 billion euros, with 2.5% organic growth.
North America (35% of net revenue) posted strong numbers, including
6.4% growth in the second quarter and 6.9% for the first half, with gains attributed to media and creative, while Havas Health lagged.
Europe, the company’s largest region (50% of net
revenue) grew slightly -- 0.3% -- with France and the UK losing ground. Other markets, such as Germany, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Netherlands and Sweden, were described as “more dynamic,”
in both the creative and media segments. First-half growth was 0.7%.
Yannick Bolloré, chairman and CEO, characterized first half performance as “solid.” He added that the firm
was “pleased with the progress at Horizon Global,” a joint venture with Horizon Media, which recently scored big in the Skechers media review.
“We continue to
invest in areas of growing client demand through targeted acquisitions that strengthen our capabilities in sports marketing, experiential activation, and corporate influence,” he
added.
