Leanplum, the provider of a multichannel engagement platform, has appointed Kate FitzGerald as president.
FitzGerald has served as president of American sales for Marketo, group vice president of North America sales for Oracle Marketing Cloud and vice president of worldwide sales for Salesforce Service Cloud.
She will be tasked with generating sales growth, customer success and engagement with alliances, states Momchil Kyurkchiev, CEO and co-founder of Leanplum.
FitzGerald is now assembling a predominantly female team. Leanplum’s executive staff, which is almost 50% female, includes Kristin Goetterman, senior vice president of customer success; Athena Koutsonikolas, vice president of marketing; and Kerri Corely, vice president of people.
Leanplum serves such brands as Tinder and Tesco, providing them with what it says is a data-driven engagement platform.
The San Francisco-based firm has $98 million in funding from Silicon Valley venture capital firms.
