A social media influencer has become the first to be sanctioned by the ASA for promoting a medicine.
The Telegraph reports that the ASA made the decision after ruling anyone with a following
greater than 30,000 is effectively a celebrity and so automatically breaks the law if they are seen to endorse a medical product.
