The cars being used are equipped with Toyota’s in-vehicle device Trans Log, using the intelligent analysis capabilities of Toyota’s mobility
platform.
The collaboration is expected to allow Toyota and DiDi to expand various connected services of the Toyota mobility platform.
"DiDi is committed to help cities achieve new
energy and smart transportation goals with partners from home and abroad,” stated Stephen Zhu, senior vice president of DiDi. “We look forward to combining DiDi's expertise in AI-based
large-scale mobility operations and Toyota's connected vehicle technology to build a next-generation intelligent transportation framework for sustainable cities."
