Publicis Groupe UK Adds Chief Production Officer Role

Publicis Groupe UK is appointing Clare Donald as Chief Production Officer to lead both Prodigious and Publicis Groupe UK’s cross-discipline production offering as the Groupe further expands its so-called “Power of One” country model.

This position is the first production leader to be embedded within the Groupe’s country-specific reorganization and is a pilot test of sorts for a rollout in which other countries will also install such leaders.

The UK serves as a pilot market for a number of Groupe projects, including the still on-going development of Marcel.

In her new role, Donald will oversee production and delivery of product for all UK clients and work closely with Ben Mooge, CCO of Publicis Groupe UK, to raise the level of craft and creativity across Publicis Groupe UK agencies.

The heads of production of individual Publicis Groupe UK agencies — including Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett and Publicis.Poke — will have a reporting line to Donald, as well as to their respective agency creative leads.

Donald joins from Unreasonable Studios, where she was global managing director running the full-service studio offerings across seven offices in six countries worldwide.

With the move to Publicis Groupe, Donald is reuniting with her former colleague Annette King, Publicis Groupe UK CEO, whom she worked with at Ogilvy London as Chief Production Officer.

“We understand the unique and varied challenges facing our clients and having Clare join us reflects the importance of production as a multi-discipline capability for our clients," says King.
