Microsoft Introduces New Anti-Phishing Feature For Office 365: Report

Microsoft is rolling out a new feature called Universal Sender, to help Office 365 users “identify suspicious messages in their inbox," the company says, according to Bleeping Computer.

The indicator alerts users by showing that “Office 365 spoof intelligence was unable to verify the send,” it says.

When someone is unsure of an email, Universal Sender replaces the usual photo or initials from the sender with a question mark in the people card.

Microsoft urges users to not interact with an email when it is marked as spam.
