'Vogue' International Editor Sam Rogers Heads To Bustle UK

Bustle UK, the woman's lifestyle site, has a new executive editor, Sam Rogers, the former Vogue International fashion features and news editor.

Effective January 6, Rogers will oversee Bustle UK’s editorial operations, which launched last year.

She will report to editorial director Charlotte Owen, according to WWD, which first reported the news.

At Vogue International, Rogers worked on editorial content for 17 international editions. Prior to that, she was acting online editor at British Vogue.

Owen is relocating to Bustle’s New York office to oversee U.S. editorial operations.

In June, Bustle Digital Group tapped Emma Rosenblum to become editor-in-chief. Bustle Digital Group owns Bustle, The Zoe Report, Elite Daily and Romper, among other digital brands.

Bustle laid off at least 10 members of its staff and contributors last week.

Bustle founder and former editor-in-chief Kate Ward left the company in April.

The layoffs are due to an upcoming restructuring at the company, which is prepping for a site relaunch in 2020.
