Kantar, the Bain and WPP-owned research arm, has appointed Pete Rumpel to lead the North American region of firm’s Media Division as CEO.
Rumpel succeeds Manish Bhatia who has been named, Chief Product Officer, Media Division, Kantar.
Rumpel was most recently Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Partner for research and consulting firm ABI Research. Earlier he held a variety of global sales, marketing, business development, client and product development roles including stints with SAP, Rosetta Stone and Gartner.
In his new role, Bhatia will oversee global product development efforts for Kantar’s Media Division. Prior to joining Kantar, Bhatia served in product development roles for both Nielsen and comScore.
