Lumi By Pampers Makes Public Debut At CES

The connected diaper system Lumi by Pampers was officially launched at CES this week.

The small, Lumi sensor is placed on a baby’s diaper, which automatically tracks a baby’s sleep, diapering, feeding routines and key milestones.

The connected care system also incorporates a high-definition video baby monitor.

The connected diaper system can connect multiple caretakers, including parents, family members and babysitters. It can track every diaper change and sleep activity, which can be stored for later sharing at the doctor’s office.

“Figuring out your baby’s needs can be tricky,” stated Omer Sher, head of the startup Pampers team that founded the product. “When developing Lumi, we focused on solving real problems parents have. Lumi lets you see and know how your baby is doing at a glance, anticipate their needs and build your rhythm as a family.”
