Omnisend, a London-based provider of omnichannel marketing platform, is extending its operations into the North American market, where 75% of its customers are located.
Jamie Sutton, co-creator of Shopify Plus ecommerce platform, will serve as GM of North America.
In addition, Ryan Somrak has been named VP of sales, and Jon Pruitt has been named VP of partnerships.
Somrak and Pruitt have over 20 years of combined experience in marketing technology, including several years at Bronto, the email marketing company now owned by Oracle, the firm says.
The company plans to open an office in Austin, Texas, in addition to facilities on the East and West coasts, and will be hiring sales and marketing staff and account and partner managers for those locations.
The company shifted its focus three years ago from email marketing to omnichannel marketing.
Last year, Omnisend had an annual recurring revenue of $10.2 million.
