Current Global, an Interpublic Group agency, has made senior appointments to its growing healthcare practice in North America.

The four new hires report to Jacelyn Seng, executive vice president and North America healthcare lead.

Lisa Shichijo joins as senior vice president and will oversee accounts in a range of therapeutic areas. Her experience includes tenures at Chandler Chicco, W2O Group, GCI Health and Porter Novelli.

Andria Arena joins as vice president with expertise in corporate reputation, consumer education campaigns, new product launches and digital marketing efforts for a variety of pharmaceutical products.

Beth Schifflin joins as senior manager. Her experience includes tenures at the Medical University of South Carolina where she led marketing and communications for children’s health and at BCW where she focused on neuroscience and diabetes.

Megan Gyrion joins as Senior Manager, Scientific Communications. With a PhD in addiction neuroscience, she will serve as medical lead across multiple franchise and product teams. She joins from Spectrum Science, where she provided counsel to pharmaceutical, biotech and health tech clients spanning disease categories including neuroscience, immunology, oncology and rare diseases.
