Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is appointing OH Partners as agency of record to manage the brand launch strategy and creative execution for the resort opening in fall 2020. The selection followed a formal review.
To help service this account, the agency has opened a dedicated Las Vegas office, with support from the OH Partners team in Phoenix, AZ.
Agency leaders did not specify campaign strategy but it is likely to describe the property’s robust luxury offerings, including a 60,000 square foot casino operated by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment. There are also over five acres of poolside spaces and outdoor event venues; numerous dining options, lounges and bars; and over 117,000 square feet of meeting, event and convention spaces.
The agency was invited to participate in the pitch because of its previous work for the brand’s corporate loyalty program, The Know. That launch campaign handled by OH included video and photography, back-of-the house collateral, as well as digital, social and print advertisements.
Launched in 2010, Virgin Hotels currently operates three hotels in SF, Dallas, and Chicago, with seven more in development including Nashville, New York, New Orleans, Miami, Palm Springs, and Edinburgh. As of now, OH Partners only represents the Las Vegas location.
