Zeotap has launched a customer intelligence platform (CIP), that it says can help brands activate data across their marketing ecosystems.
In addition, the firm has named Jim Thoeni
as its global chief revenue officer. Previously, Thoeni served as area vice president North America for Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud business.
Reporting to CEO Daniel Heer, Thoeni will
be responsible for all revenue-generating and customer-facing teams worldwide.
Zeotap’s new CIP provides first-party data unification, deterministic identity resolution, third-party data
enrichment, analytics/modeling, and activation, the company says.
Zeotap cites a BCG report showing that only 2% of brands have reached full digital marketing maturity; and that 83% could not
make connections across touchpoints.
One zeotap client, a multinational Spanish banking group, is now able to “unlock many possibilities: audience planning, custom segment creation,
activation in any online channel and even data enrichment, which is essential to us,” states Victor Frontán, programmatic & DMP specialist at BBVA.
Zeotap serves such brands
as Unilever, Mercedes Benz, Red Bull, BBVA, Orange Telecom and Vodafone.
