Postal.io, an offline marketing company that claims email marketing is diminishing, has raised $9 million in Series A funding. The round was led by venture firm Mayfair.
The funding will be used to grow the team in San Luis Obispo, California and to scale the firm’s revenue operations.
The company claims that post-COVID pandemic email marketing volume is up, while response rates are near all-time lows.
Postal.io is trying to do for offline marketing what “Marketo, Eloqua and HubSpot did for digital marketing automation,” states Erik Kostelnik, CEO of Postal.io.
The firm helps clients manage consumer messages, including cards and letters, in the same way they manage digital marketing programs.
