AT&T is reflecting spokesperson “Lily’s” reality during COVID-19 as the company store manager works remotely.
Two new spots, created with BBDO LA and Critical Mass, show her answering customer service questions about issues like 5G connectivity, as well as humorous asides, like asking why people are obsessed with making sourdough bread.

“Lily” worked both in front of and behind the camera to develop these ads. Actress Milana Vayntrub collaborated with her quarantine mate (and boyfriend) to shoot and produce the work, while the production teams at BBDO and Critical Mass relied on video conferences and fully remote operations (including casting, playback and editing) to complete the campaign.
