Publicis Groupe Wins Sephora NA Assignment

Sephora is awarding North American media responsibilities to Publicis Groupe following a four-month review.

The $250 million account was previously handled by Dentsu Aegis Network.

The new partnership will be led by Digitas, and it's believed assisted with data from its sister shop Epsilon. The U.S. portion covers media strategy, planning and buying for all media channels with the exception of addressable TV.

The Canadian scope is for strategy, planning and buying across media channels for its e-commerce business, sephora.ca.

The LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton beauty retailer sought an agency partner that “maximizes media holding group talents, thought leadership, tools, technology and media buying potential,” according to the original RFP.

The review was managed by ID Comms global media and marketing consultancy.
