S4 Capital's Latest M&A Deal: French Agency Dare.Win

Fledgling holding company S4 Capital has announced its latest M&A deal: Dare.Win, a Paris-based digital creative agency. Terms weren’t disclosed.

The agency was founded in 2011 by Wale Gbadamosi-Oyekanmi and will be aligned with S4’s content unit MediaMonks.

The agency employs more than 80 people and offers creative, production and consulting services. Clients include Netflix, Nike, Google, Française des Jeux, PlayStation and Warner.

S4 Capital Executive Chairman Martin Sorrell stated, “France is a very important market, always punching above its weight globally, with 31 multinationals in the Fortune 500.”

Added MediaMonks CEO Victor Knap, “With shared clients, a shared flexible business model and a shared ambition to disrupt the market, Dare.Win was an obvious choice for us to enter the French market.”

In July S4 said it raised an estimated $145 million through a special share offering to be used largely for M&A deals and has been averaging a deal a month since then. In late July it acquired Amazon specialist Orca Pacific. Last month it did a deal for UK-based data analytics and measurement firm Brightblue consulting.

Earlier this week S4 issued first half results reporting nearly 7% organic revenue growth for the period.
