Dynata Acquires CrowdLab, Digital Research Tool

First-party data platform Dynata, has acquired CrowdLab, a digital ethnography tool that it claims helps brands capture in-the-moment consumer opinions and trends. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 2011 by Richard Owen and friends, CrowdLab was built on the premise that qualitative research should be delivered with “scale and speed,” states Tiama Hanson-Drury, executive vice president of product development for Dynata.

CrowdLab can field research ranging from three-day quick polls to six-month-long communities, Dynata says.

Dynata is a first-party data and insights platform, covering over 62 million consumers and business professionals worldwide, the company says.
