Ponte Vedra Inn & Club (PVIC) has spent millions of dollars modernizing its oceanfront accommodations, and now the resort is working with Miami-based ad agency Tinsley Advertising to develop a creative campaign to promote the effort. PR shop Paradise Advertising and Marketing has also been enlisted to help spread the word.
“While we launched these new enhancements during a pandemic, we followed a well-thought-out portion of a plan, which foresaw using both advertising and public relations as promotional channels,” explains Craig Schoninger, director of sales and marketing for Ponte Vedra Inn & Club. “We pretty much stayed on course with our plan, even during the pandemic.”
One pandemic-related selling point: The majority of rooms allow guests to access the beach directly from their rooms.
The campaign targets the high-end travelers, families, golf, spa and beach aficionados, as the property did prior to its renovation with print ads and digital content. “Our story is one of storied elegance and heritage - of an iconic, AAA Five-Diamond-rated resort, and one that continues to evolve its modern luxury in order to stay relevant for our members and for our guests,” says Schoninger.
