GroupM Elevates Taylor, Grant To Mission-Critical Global Posts

GroupM just made two mission-critical promotions among its global senior ranks.

Kieley Taylor has been elevated to Global Head of Partnerships. A company memo issued a couple of days ago said the post is primarily focused on the “design and implementation of our partnership strategy with a particular focus on Google.”

Taylor succeeds Andrew Meaden, who was promoted to Global Head of Investment Strategy earlier this year.

Taylor had been Global Head Of Social, and that role is being assumed by Amanda Grant, who previously served as U.S. Head of Social and then APAC Head of Social for the 18 months.

“We probably don’t have to tell you how important our relationships are with the platforms and publishers,” the memo, from Meaden and GroupM CFO Colin Barlow stated. “The stronger our relationships are, the more access to new products and more innovative media approaches to get clients results.” That sounds pretty mission-critical, alright.

The missive asserted closer ties also “allow us to take a firm stance on data ethics and consumer privacy and push on other important issues when we know our partners can be improving.”
