Apple: EU Privacy Activists File Complaint Based On IDFA

European privacy activists filed complaints against Apple based on its use of software to track the behavior of iPhone users. The group NOYB, short for “none of your business,” on Monday said it asked data protection authorities in Germany and Spain to examine the legality of Apple’s tracking codes. The codes, known as IDFA or Identifier for Advertisers, are similar to cookies that websites use to store information on user behavior. Apple claims the complaints are “factually inaccurate," according to the Associated Press.
