Coffee and tea marketing giant JDE Peet’s has consolidated its media assignment outside of North America with Havas Media. The Vivendi-owned agency had been an incumbent on a portion of the business.
Billings for the assignment are estimated at $300 million annually. The award followed a formal review that began earlier this year.
Under the new remit Havas Media will be responsible for media across 54 markets for coffee and tea brands including Jacobs, L’OR, Senseo, Tassimo and Douwe Egberts.
Fiona Hughes, CMO of JDE Peet’s said the company was impressed with the agency’s “product suite and commitment to continue to build the tools that we need to enable our scientific data-driven approach to brand building.”
In 2019 the company reported around $8.3 billion in sales.
