AutoVitals Acquires BayIQ, Provider Of Loyalty, Email Tools To Auto Repair Market

AutoVitals, a provider of SaaS marketing tools to automotive repair and maintenance shops, has acquired BayIQ, a firm that offers loyalty rewards programs for the auto repair market. Terms were not disclosed. 

The purchase is the company’s first since it received what it says is a significant growth investment from Tritium Partners in 2019.

BayIQ provides such features as automated service reminders and email and text marketing. It also supports appointment scheduling, and online reviews 

In addition, BayIQ's motorist engagement offering is having “a material impact on customer retention and upselling rates for tire and automotive shops,” states Jon Belmonte, CEO of AutoVitals.  

Among the company’s tools are workflow management, digital vehicle inspection, motorist engagement, POS integration, CRM, retention and websites.

For its part, Tritium plans to “provide the resources necessary to expand our respective go-to-market teams, further enhance product/feature development and pursue additional acquisitions,” adds Chris Steiner, principal at Tritium Partners.
