WPP Sharpens Digital Transformation Skills In Latam With DTI Deal

WPP has acquired Brazilian digital innovation and software engineering company DTI Digital (DTI).

Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

The holding company said the acquisition is in line with objectives to expand its presence in areas such as experience, commerce and technology. In particular, the deal will strengthen its digital transformation capabilities.

Based in Belo Horizonte, DTI was founded in 2009 and employs 800 people. Its client list includes Vale, Localiza, MRV, FCA, Gerdau, Serasa Experian, Hermes Pardini, Pottencial, BS2, Ânima and Bayer.

Brazil is WPP’s largest market in Latin America, with more than 4,000 employees and $300 million in revenue. Clients there include Coca-Cola, Visa, Nike, Vivo, Itaipava and Casas Bahia.
