Precisely To Acquire Data Integrity Platform Winshuttle

Data integrity platform Precisely will acquire data governance software firm Winshuttle from Symphony Technology Group, the firm announced on Monday. Terms were not disclosed.

The announcement comes little more than a month after Precisely acquired Infogix, and was itself acquired by Clearlake Capital Group and TA Associates in a reputed $3.5 billion deal announced in March.

“Adding Winshuttle’s process automation and master data management software, with its deep expertise in SAP environments, will enable Precisely to extend our portfolio of differentiated solutions,” states Josh Rogers, CEO of Precisely.

Rogers adds, “Process automation is essential in delivering higher-quality data so companies can be confident in their business decisions.”

With the Winshuttle and Infogix purchases, Precisely combines three firms with expertise in data integrity, an important capability for digital brands, including those that conduct email marketing.

“Data quality issues are among the largest that hinder modern digital organizations today from unlocking the true potential of their data,” add Harry Taylor, managing director, and Michael Libert, principal at TA.

Precisely says it serves 12,000 customers in more than 100 countries.

Sidley Austin LLP represented Precisely in the Winshuttle transaction.
