NFL Adds Sportsbooks Deals For New TV Season

The NFL has added sports betting agreements with four sportsbooks -- Fox Bet, BetMGM, PointsBet, and WynnBET -- which will become “approved sportsbook operators” for the upcoming 2021 season.

The deal allows sportsbooks to be promoted via NFL in-game TV advertising TV and other NFL media inventory.

In April, NFL announced its initial U.S. sportsbook partnerships with Caesars Entertainment, DraftKings and FanDuel. Those sportsbooks can also secure NFL advertising inventory.

Caesars Entertainment, DraftKings and FanDuel are allowed to use the NFL branding marks in their promotion material. Also, the sports books can be integrated into NFL O&O properties.

Non-NFL approved sportsbooks will not be able to buy TV advertising time through any of its TV networks partners -- Fox, NBC, ABC/ESPN, NFL Network or CBS.

Fox Bet has been integrated into Fox Corp. media properties since 2019. BetMGM, the sports betting/online gaming business, started as a partnership between MGM Resorts Intl and technology company, Entain Plc.

PointsBet, which has a long history of sports betting in Australia, operates in seven U.S. states currently. WynnBet is the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts.
