Springshare, a technology platform designed to
turn librarians into rock stars in their communities, as the firm boasts, has debuted LibConnect, a platform that marries Springshare’s existing CRM product with a new email marketing
capability.
The new offering is “a fully featured, cost effective user engagement platform so that any library — small, large, and anything in-between — can take advantage of
email marketing and CRM to connect and engage with users,” states Sarah Pawlek, vice president of product at Springshare and a former librarian.
The new platform includes an ILS
importer to create LibConnect profiles and identify email audiences to form email lists based on user preferences.
It also features prebuilt custom templates for sending engaging email
campaigns.
Included are a drag-and-drop email editor and a free image library containing over 500,000 stock images. Users can also avail and preview email campaigns with mobile, tablet and
desktop views.
In addition, they can see campaign reporting on delivery rates, opens, clicks, and unsubscribes.
Springshare founder and CEO Slaven Zivkovic claims the offering is
“unlike anything currently available to libraries.”
