Snap Unveils AR Content Studio: Touts P&G, Verizon, WWE, Shake Shack As Charter Clients

Snap this morning unveiled the rollout of a new content studio for brands and agencies developing augmented reality campaigns on its platform.

Dubbed Arcadia -- emphasis on the "AR" -- the studio is staffed by augmented reality technical and creative experts, and will operate as an independent division within Snap.

The studio has its own web location -- ArcadiaCreativeStudio.com -- and will function much like the studio model of other big media publishing companies, providing creative services in an effort to accelerate media buys and campaigns on Snap.

"Arcadia will have specific clients of record that it will serve consistently and will also take on additional opportunistic projects that align with the mission of the studio," the company said in a statement singling out charter advertisers including P&G Beauty, Verizon, WWE, and Shake Shack (which coincidentally is the partner for an Advertising Week "Snap Shack" takeover in New York City this week).
