
McCann has promoted Monica Tailor to senior vice president,
global director of McCann Live, the network’s global social practice.
Over the last five years, Live has expanded across the McCann network globally, with 29 "centers of
excellence" and with plans for further expansion given client demand for social services.
“This is one of the fastest-growing practices within McCann, and we want to ensure that we
deliver the very best-in-class strategic and creative social capabilities for our clients” said Chris Macdonald, Chairman and CEO of McCann. “I know that Monica will make sure we do that
in all of McCann’s largest markets.”
Tailor is credited with building the service across the UK. She’s been with agency for seven years, working on digital strategy for
clients across the agency, based at McCann Manchester.
Live’s social campaign for Aldi, #FreeCuthbert, garnered a silver lion at this year’s Festival of Creativity in the
Social and Influencer Real Time category. The effort achieved more than $5 million in earned media and increased Aldi U.K.’s Twitter following by 30% in just a week, according to the agency.
