Agency Human Design Expands With Experiential, Documentary Units

Boulder, CO-based brand & communications agency Human Design has expanded its client services with the launch of two new operations including an experiential marketing division and a new documentary unit.

The agency is bolstering its experiential expansion effort with the hiring of two veterans in the field—JP Stacey and Katie Baldwin.

Previously, both worked at Match Marketing Group in Boulder and have helped develop experiential projects for blue chip brands like Ford, PepsiCo, Toyota and Diageo.

Baldwin reports agency co-founder Matt Null and Stacey reports into Rob Hofferman, Head of Accounts.

At Human, the two have already led a team to support the agency's newest spirits account, Woody Creek Distillers. The agency leveraged distillery spokesperson and actor William H. Macy (also a partner in the distillery) for a live bar experience at the Aspen Food & Wine Festival. The activation helped launch the distillery’s new tagline created by the agency, "Colorado Born and Raised."

The new documentary unit is called Human Entertainment.

The move follows Human’s recent creation of two short-form documentaries, including the environmental advocacy film “Feral” (now available via Discovery+) that was directed, co-written and executive produced by Daniel Clarke, managing director and partner at the agency.

A second film “Brushstroke,” was directed by Tim Twinem, who leads in-house production at Human Design, which acquired his production company in 2018. The film documents the creation of an AI-powered robot that paints original artwork.
