Stagwell Media Taps Schaaf For Global Chief Investment Officer Role

Stagwell Media has added three executives to its global C-Suit, including Jon Schaaf who has been named Global Chief Investment Officer. 

He held similar roles at Stagwell subsidiaries Gale and Assembly. Earlier, Schaff was president, Enterprise Partnerships at Omnicom Media Group.

The media operation also named Shannon Pruitt Global Chief Content Officer. The 20-year industry veteran was previously president of content at MDC Media Partners and previously held roles at Dentsu, Horizon Media, Disney and Warner Bros.

Rick Acampora has been named Global Chief Client Officer. He held the same role at ForwardPMX, now part of Stagwell Media and earlier held senior roles at GroupM, Wavemaker, UM and Publicis Groupe.

Separately, parent company Stagwell Inc., now billing itself as “the challenger network built to transform marketing,” has made several senior appointments, including the promotion of Robyn Freye to Chief Growth Officer, North America.

Previously Freye was senor vice president, strategic growth and credited with reeling in big new pieces of business from clients including Uber, Google and Expedia.

Alexis Williams has been promoted to Chief Brand Officer, NA and will lead brand marketing efforts collaborating with global and growth teams. She's been with Stagwell for nearly four years, most recently as co-chair, DEI Working Group.

Nate Napier has been named senior vice president, global Sslutions, responsible for building integrated teams and working models that harness the Group’s collective marketing expertise for global clients. During his over two-year tenure at the company, he helped create a central client relationship management team that serves global accounts. Earlier, he served in senior brand building roles at Intuit and Procter & Gamble.

Amy Mayurnik has been tapped for the role of senior vice president, global recruitment, where she will lead and expand the network’s central recruitment team. She’s been with the company for over a decade, most recently as vice president, talent and recruiting.
