Out-of-home media and technology company, Intersection has been awarded an exclusive 10-year contract to sell bus, rail and station advertising with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
Intersection will bring its suite of static and digital media products to more than 800 buses and paratransit vehicles, nearly 40 bus and rail stations, and a number of EV charging stations to one of the country's fastest growing cities. The contract will commence on January 1, 2022 and includes two 1-year options.
As part of the deal, Intersection will also deploy 200 new digital advertising screens across the MARTA system. Through Intersection's communications platform these screens in addition to ads will provide riders with access to real-time information such as transit times, alerts, nearby points of interest.
Intersection has service contracts for OOH media networks across markets including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas and Seattle in addition to other major regions such as Austin, Charlotte, New Jersey, Houston, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Portland and more.
Combined the company’s OOH networks reach over 50 million people through more than 400,000 digital and static assets nationwide.
