Last week Hologic confirmed it was launching its first consumer campaign, including a spot in the upcoming Super Bowl.
Now some new details have emerged including that Grammy winner and Oscar-nominated actress Mary J. Blige will star in the company’s Super Bowl spot. Different versions will continue to air in the ongoing campaign, including the Olympics.
The TV ad is titled "Her Health is Her Wealth," and was created by CHÉ Creative. The ad highlights how, despite her busy life, Blige still makes time in her schedule for her annual doctor's visit.
The campaign is designed to remind women to schedule annual checkups, as company research shows that nearly 50% of women ages 16 to 54 have not seen a medical professional for a health screening in the past year.
